sslcacertfile > fingerprint on disk

You may be tempted like myself to just slam down the Gmail certificate fingerprint in your offlineimaprc configuration, but just don't. Instead, review this bad boy and perform the relevant actions yourself to get a Certificate Authority bundle installed on your OS X machine.

You'll need to point the cacertfile directive in your ~/.offlineimaprc file to /usr/share/curl/ca-bundle.crt (or wherever you've chosen to stick it). After that, offlineimap stopped complaining about the fingerprint for the Gmail servers wobbling all over the place.
